ABOUT CDA
Citizens' Defense Academy (CDA) with locations in Gallia County, OH, and Tioga County, PA, was founded to provide training and education in Emergency Preparedness, First Aid, and other Personal Protection subjects. Training emphasizes personal preparedness for everyday situations, from skinned knees to violent encounters to natural disasters.
Additional training in firearms safety and marksmanship for both beginner and experienced shooters, as well as advanced defensive shooting techniques and training in less-lethal options, is also available.
CDA also provides basic and advanced instruction for the certification and professional development of private security, following state and federal regulations. This includes Active Shooter and Church Security Team Training.
Classes presented at CDA are constantly updated and modified to keep up with current local and global threats and events.
Citizens’ Defense Academy’s Instructor Cadre comprises currently certified Red Cross First-Aid, NRA, USCCA, Law Enforcement, and Military Firearms Instructors. Instructors have also been contracted to instruct for Legal Heat, Protect His House (PHH), and The Emergency Response Training & Certification Agency (ERTCA) based at the MSU Police Academy. Instructors are constantly training to learn the latest concepts, combining them with years of experience to bring the best techniques to the forefront in every class.
Specialty courses are taught by Independent Instructors who are Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in technology, analysis, and survival. As well as experienced Martial Artists, trained in Karate, Aikido, Jujitsu, Krav Maga, and other styles, bringing you the most up-to-date and pertinent information and training.
Whether you are looking for training in self-defense, lethal or less-lethal tactics, first-aid/self-aid, emergency preparedness, or travel and home safety, you will receive comprehensive instruction and learn how and where to employ what you have learned without draining your savings account.
